Wednesday, June 11, 2008 Oh yeah today is pp birthdae, we had pre-celebrate for her laz sat @ her requested--> manhattan fish market! Gosh we simply luv manahttan! haa... We went to the one at clarke quay The Central (pls dun get mix up wif The central mall, which is juz nearby as well). Compared to PS outlet, it is much spacious, probably coz there r less tables.  Got her vintage bag frm Hurs... haa i luv tis brand sia hope she likes it too =P  Pp body but piggy face haa...  While waitin for shirley arrival, we took mani pics =) Luckily i made reservation, not long after we sat down e queue was so long sia... had ask for outdoor seats, but were fully taken up. We end up sittin inside. I luv e outdoor scenary, luv sittin at e river =P  We finali got to kiss rene...lol  Soup of the day- Cream of mushroom & Clam chowder Add $3.90 to main course, to get soup of the day & a big glass of drink (wif a choice of lemon tea, peach tea, coke & sprite) I will prefers cream of mushroom, though it tasted kind of salty. Its standard is defintely better than other restaurants.  Fishermen's Giant Fried Platter for 2 or 3 @ $38.90 A platter of fishermen's fav food including fried prawns, fish, calamari, mushrooms with chips & garlic rice. Veri fragrant rice. Mushrooms r crispy outside & juicy inside. Fried prawns & fish r well-done! & of course my fav, calamari! haa...  The waiter will do tis before servin e manhattan seafood platter. Except for Pp & me, steven, rene & shirley were 1st time guests... & they were full wif great comments gee... ...  Manhattan Seafood Platter for 2 @ $33.90 (must try!!!) Deep fried fish fillet, calamari, oysters & award winning flaming prawns served with chips & garlic rice. I wonder wat 'secret recipe' they keep, hmm... their oysters have no fishy smell, pple like me who doesnt like oysters can put inside my mouth without hesitation =P & of course my fav, which is their famous flaming prawns... super yummy! lol... It served wif a sauce tat tasted of cheese, mayo, butter... & its e sauce tat gets me crazy over it haa... Their service is fantastic! Staff or even managers were busy, stil veri polite & they were fast too. Knowin tat was Pp birthdae, e assistant manager had all e staff stood infront of our table & sang her birthdae song, so loud enuf for every1 in e restuarant to hear them haa... They even took a pic of us wif their camera, & offer Pp a complimentary brownie. We had turned e brownie down as all of us were so full from e yummy food lol... I wrote a feedback card for them said: So broke & fat coz ur food is too nice haha...  Went Forbidden City for a drink after e sinful meal... ... Tried shooters-Illusion. Tasted sweet, according to our fatty boss steven =P, tat australia version of illusion taste much much more wonderful  My face was red like tomatoes, but nt drunk haa... probably coz blood circulation is too gd gee... 活宝姐妹 lovey dovey    Seal wif a kiss... ... |
