Service was generally slow, despite there were only 1 big group & few small tables occupied So-called appertizer--> peanuts its damn nice, i even asked for refill & was glad there wasnt additional charge gee... Its veri soft & veri juicy!... Wat they did to e peanuts sia On e rite is Pan-fry siew mai @ $4.50 (6pcs) My 1st time eatin siew mai tat is nt steamed. Fresh & big prawns inside, taste like 'wo tie'. Overrall steamed siew mai is still the best =) On e left is Xiao long bao & @ $5 (5pcs) The meat filling inside is tasteless & is too soft. The soup is too bland as well Well, i dun like it... Both r 'chee cheong fun' ...gee On e rite Chee cheong fun stuffed wif you tiao dipped wif soya sauce @ $5 You tiao is veri crispy, felt like i was eatin you tiao instead of chee cheong fun. Its better than e one @ sunshine plaza On e left is Pan-fry cheecheong fun wif chilli on top @ $4 Dar commented its too spicy. For me, i find it too oliy & its tastlelss! unless dipped wif chiili Cantonese style zha jiang mian @ $7 The noodles was e last to serve & it took ard 30mins, we were still wonderin was e noodles flown from hong kong? Its worth e waitin if e food is nice, its great tat we didnt wait for nothing. The noodles taste great wif the gravy & minced meat. I like e noodles texture, crispy yet soft when mixed wif e gravy Seriously its gorgeous yummy! :-) Pastry = crispy & soft. Filling was topped wif ginko nuts. The yam melt inside my mouth when i bite on it, e feelin was reali shiok lol... & its nt too sweet. Luv it to bits haa I was having the thought these will b my 1st & oso last visit to this restaurant, but this marvellous yam tart changed my mind gee... anna will luv it to bits too =P Got e baked egg tart 4 takeaway too, selling @ $4 (4 pcs) Gorgeous yummy too haa... but e yam is still my NO 1 ! I left e egg tart till e next dae & still taste so wonderful =) I tink tat its too pricey, but i wil stil return for the yam tart. |
