Friday, May 23, 2008 I spent 5 yrs+ tere, when i was only 17 after my o levels till current... probably i shld put it as 3 yrs only. When mummy forced me to move out of clementi, i was devasted, hated tamp so much. The 1st yr tere, i would call xian & cried,i miss clementi... coz i had no frenz @ tamp everytin were so weird to me, everytime i looked out of e window i felt lost. I hated to stay at home & relationship wif mummy got worst. I hated her for nt sparing a thought for my feelings when she made e decision, cant deny till now there is still a knot btw us. I thought i will nv adapt to tamp, but after e 2nd yr things changed tiny little bit... however many stuff happened, was forced to move to aunt hse @ bedok. That was when i learnt to b independent, rented rm @ jurong east & met a veri wonderful landlord lady. Stayed tere for a yr, on & off i stil went bac tamp 2 visit mummy. Mummy asked if i wanna move bac, i ended up bac at tamp again. I was struggling, was glad to b bac @ west again, couldnt bear to move & leave my frenz again... but renting room reali used up a lot $. Complicating life isnt it... Thats oso e time i accepted tamp & grew 2 luv it. Probably coz i found a job @ tamp too, made frenz & marvellous ting was, i walked to work hw shiok was it haa... & saved on transport gee... but after a yr, i moved out to clementi again, stil goes bac tamp every wkend. I understand movin out is no choice, mummy oso struggling but i stil feel sad... worst part we are moving to bedok, juz few blks away from aunt hse, seems like after a round im bac tere again. I dun like bedok =( Tamp is wonderful, wif 2 shopping malls, step out of hse i can shop liao =P 3rd shopping mall is on e way too, erm shld b ready by next yr ba but by then i wun b stayin tere liao... & tamp has a lot yummy food & i oways get seat on mrt coz it is e 2nd last station lol... & it is near pasir ris chalets, changi airport... ... & i finali haf frenz @ tamp & those memories of my growing up... too mani &sss to continue on When mervyn sent me hm, when we sat down at my blk talked & cried, when we walked 2hrs from tamp to bedok... ... when nigel used to send me hm after we went out... ... when shermaine, ridah, dien, uriel & me sat at 201 prata shop eat, smoke, chit chat... ... when hangin ard tamp wif jeffery, bryan, micky & willam... they are e ones who brought me ard tamp... when we walked to 201 yummy pratas... ... when dar came all e way from jurong to pick me up... ... when sam sent me hm twice... ... when i watched 2006 world cup @ tamp interchange mac They contribute to my memories & luv for tamp... i dun wish to pack i will cry & i had alr cried Tuesday, May 20, 2008 Mynamar, china... so much happening ard e world, cant express hw 幸福 im to b breathing in spore... life as usual work, eat, shop, sleep... we are 幸福!

Thursday, May 15, 2008 1 wk after dearie mum birthdae is mothers day, same tradition every yr... & i wil b damn broke =( As for this yr, mummy is damn broke. Mothers' day, we went ikea to get some new furniture & spent a lot $ (all paid by mummy)
We had lunch @ ikea food cafe. Its so much bigger than alexandra's cafe, food is cheap too. Mum & i had 1] fried rice serves wif chicken, fish cake & otah 2] meatballs (beef or pork serves wif potatoes) 3] cream of chicken Average standard for e soup. It's a disappointment for meatballs, doesnt taste as nice as those @ alexandra... or has e standard drops? erm e lazt time i ate was like yrs ago haa...
 Even e ikea staff commented we look alike, especially the eyes lol... of course like wat mummy oways replied, we r from e same factory =D
Tuesday, May 13, 2008 After the stuffy sushi meal, we head towards cheesecafe cafe @ east coast rd. Eat eat & eat! thanks 2 our fatty boss! Cafe was packed wif pple, indoor was mostly sofas & couches, so as u would haf guess, its FULL inside... left wif no choice we settled at outdoor. Was quite shocked their toilet so clean & nicely-decorated/designed... probably even better than those @ shopping malls. Couldnt take pics as no photography is allowed inside or outside e cafe =( whew...managed to took sum secretly gee
 There were peanut butter, rum & rasin, strawberry oreo, peach jelly & choc brownie (all were cheesecakes!) served... & a non-cheesecake--> tiramisu Peach jelly is their signature but sorry to say its not to my liking. Personally, its too soft as there's a layer of peach jelly on top. Oh it is nt shown inside e pics, as our dear frenz kc, gobble it within mins (-_-)
Both rum & rasin & strawberry oreo are at average standard. Choc brownie is e best among those tat we ordered. For a person like me who doesnt tink choc is heaven, theirs doesnt taste too sweet & combine perfectly well wif e cheesecake. Pls allow me to mark a FAIL for tiramisu too. Its too soft, almost can swallow without chewing/biting... & coffee taste is too strong, couldnt taste any liqueur  Shirley on the right, rene on the left... & e middle is our fatty boss haa  Here cums e birthday boy! lol... The oreo (birthday) cheesecake sponsored by jacklyn & desmond. Oreo is yummy too, but probably we were alr too full from the sushi... & too much cheesecake were making us sick too.  Cheesecake cafe presented birthday boy~ Vanilla ice-cream served wif waffer stick & slice of choc, on-the-house  The total costly bill... As besides cheesecake, we stil ordered white wine Dr loosen @ $79 Will consider for 2nd visit, juz a flaw i dun like abt their cheesecakes, cheese isnt too thick probably nt for those cheesy lovers like me. But oso like wat shirley said, cheese which is too thick will gets sicks faster... erm Laz sat we pre-celebrate fatty cum boss birthday, was suppose to falls on sun Mothers' Day. Haa.. sun is meant for our dearie mothers =)  Took during e journey to cheesecake cafe, after the sushi. Pp was wearin skirt tat dae! wo hoo~  Long queue on wkends, oh we went to the wisma branch. I realized all e ichiban outlets i went had to queue (No reservations) & wif quite a no of branches in spore, they defintely have a market here. Generally was stil quite fast as we waited nt more than 30 mins. But seats were not comfy as 7 of us were squeezed on a 4-seater table, it was stuffy.  Pp & i shared cheesy chicken set. Probably held too high expectations initially, was quite disappointed wif the food. Cheese was too hard, doesnt melt on e chicken. Its like eatin 2 different food, cheese is cheese chicken is chicken =( The set includes rice, tofu, miso soup, chawamushi, 4 slices of salmon & fruits. Its defintely worth the price (sori i couldnt rem e price). I was stuck in btw Pp & jacklyn couldnt focus totally. We ate plates & plates of sushi, got to ctrl cant eat too much haa... saving some room 4 e cheesecake *wink* *Confirm chop chop* i will return again =P juz not so squeezy again, food is meant to b enjoy. A big organization, e restaurants r classfied under ichiban sushi, ichiban boshi & ichiban buffet. A different menu btw ichiban sushi & ichiban boshi, except the sushi menu. Ichiban boshi tends to b little more pricey, wif more set meals choices. Tried ichiban buffet @ suntec, wasnt fantastic, stil remember xian & i were hungry after tat, as there wasnt many varieties & food wasnt fresh.

Luv my new skirt =) High-waist skirt, in trend nw... luv it coz its vintage haa  Located at marina square level 2, it's more than juz traditional dim dum... erm creative & unique in their own style. Service was generally slow, despite there were only 1 big group & few small tables occupied  So-called appertizer--> peanuts its damn nice, i even asked for refill & was glad there wasnt additional charge gee... Its veri soft & veri juicy!... Wat they did to e peanuts sia  On e rite is Pan-fry siew mai @ $4.50 (6pcs) My 1st time eatin siew mai tat is nt steamed. Fresh & big prawns inside, taste like 'wo tie'. Overrall steamed siew mai is still the best =) On e left is Xiao long bao & @ $5 (5pcs) The meat filling inside is tasteless & is too soft. The soup is too bland as well Well, i dun like it...  Both r 'chee cheong fun' ...gee On e rite Chee cheong fun stuffed wif you tiao dipped wif soya sauce @ $5 You tiao is veri crispy, felt like i was eatin you tiao instead of chee cheong fun. Its better than e one @ sunshine plaza On e left is Pan-fry cheecheong fun wif chilli on top @ $4 Dar commented its too spicy. For me, i find it too oliy & its tastlelss! unless dipped wif chiili  Cantonese style zha jiang mian @ $7 The noodles was e last to serve & it took ard 30mins, we were still wonderin was e noodles flown from hong kong? Its worth e waitin if e food is nice, its great tat we didnt wait for nothing. The noodles taste great wif the gravy & minced meat. I like e noodles texture, crispy yet soft when mixed wif e gravy  Baked yam tart @ $ 4 (3pcs) Seriously its gorgeous yummy! :-) Pastry = crispy & soft. Filling was topped wif ginko nuts. The yam melt inside my mouth when i bite on it, e feelin was reali shiok lol... & its nt too sweet. Luv it to bits haa I was having the thought these will b my 1st & oso last visit to this restaurant, but this marvellous yam tart changed my mind gee... anna will luv it to bits too =P Got e baked egg tart 4 takeaway too, selling @ $4 (4 pcs) Gorgeous yummy too haa... but e yam is still my NO 1 ! I left e egg tart till e next dae & still taste so wonderful =) I tink tat its too pricey, but i wil stil return for the yam tart. Friday, May 9, 2008 This bakery made yummy mini muffins! I was at bt timah 4 dinner, the only bakery tere attracted me. It looks juz like any other normal & traditional confectionery & tats the main point. I like those traditional confectionery, they produce yummy cakes, biscuit... ... The muffins attracts me becoz of its 'extraordinary' shape & its various flavours. Total of 10 flavours: kiwi, chocolate, pineapple, mango, cheese, pandan, coffee... erm... sori cant rem the other 3 =( A confectionery tat sells a range of pastry from ur daily breads, cupcakes, egg tarts & pineapple biscuit to ocassion food like mooncakes.  This is hw it looks like, unique isnt it... =P Its selling @ 50 cents each, cheap isnt it gee... I got the pandan, coffee, cheese & pineapple. I prefers pineapple & pandan more =) Cheese muffin doesnt taste much cheese smell, coffee muffin not fragrant enough, but i like tat it is topped wif sesame I bought a mini pineapple biscuit @ 60 cents. Filling not too sweet & pastry was quite loose  Located opp Bukit Timah Shopping Centre, facing side road which is near to the dental clinic. Pple in e west will noe ba... Bus 184 from clementi will leads u to their shop. Opened from 9am to 9pm from mon-sat, 9am to 1pm on sun. See the shop tel no... up up up ... haa can oways call & ask for directions ba =)
Thursday, May 8, 2008 Dearie mum's birthdae was @ Swenswen, tamp mall branch. Its was juz newly open after quite a long time of revovation. Took quite long to decide wat i wan haa... Didnt leave gd impression on swensen in e past, remembered nt mani varieties & food wasnt tat fantastic, except probably ice-cream. Their menu has improved, too mani varieties, struggling to make up my mind haa  Finali decided on yummy Crayfish Pasta @ $15.90 Taste was average, wif crabmeat & mushrooms too. Erm not 1 of the best i tasted
 Mummy & bf ordered Steak Combo @ $20.90 Both wanted well-done steak. From their opinions, taste was fine but they stil preferred --> Jacks Place =P Their veg looked gross, cant they served wif salads... The fries were not crispy too, sad... Sauce was below average standard & 1 laz ting i reali muz add--> portion was too small not worth the $  Like wat i mentioned earlier, at least their ice-cream nv fails my expectations. I luv my dessert! gee... Yam ice-cream wif marshallows & longan, served wif waffer biscuit & cherry @ $6 Defintely not the best ever, a little too sweet & a sad ting my marshallows was nowhere to b found, haix... can u c them? Mani food varieties ranging from spaghetties, cakes, salads, dim sum, finger food, pizzas, ice-cream, waffle, laksa &... ... Food tasted normal, service was good. Guess wat erm... met ex-shatec schoolmate tere. He is wkg tere as chef. He cooked us a huge plate of spagetties wif a lot of cheese, pepper & mushrooms! lol...  Its a pity xian couldnt join us, she wil luv e scenary gee... P.S: xian i didnt 4get to eat more on ur behalf leh =P  A pic wif our princess anna... wo~hoo (our secret code) =P  Took @ their toilet. Its reali nice & comfty. We gals wew busy takin pics inside while e poor guys waited outside haa... It can only b for dearie mum birthdae =)  Signature durian puff--> 6 for $10.80 The price doesnt sounds reasonable to me, tere's still GST... luckily tere is 15% off for citibank & uob card members =) This offer ends 31st july & its only for takeaway Filling made of D24 durian, looks thick & its sweet (commented by dar) haa...  This e durian crepe @ $5 each. Looks like omelette to me lol... Monday, May 5, 2008 I was thrilled when i saw *Spinelli* new drink in mag. Its peanut butter spin!... moi was i xcited even tinkin of it haa.. Sunny damn hot weather on Labour day, i made an effort to walk from far east to heeren. I ordered a takeaway as i was rushin to T3 for ~princess anna~ present lol... I sat infront of e counter as i waited 4 my drink. Took quite long though tere was no crowd, so i walked up to this young lady. She juz told me ur drink over at the end of counter, omg she was farkin rude! I was waitin rite infront of her & she can juz said my drink was alr ready & its at e other side. There were 3 staff, no crowd...dun understand hw can they provide such service Then i asked for a carrier, she gave it to me, didnt even offered to help wif my drink. I had to ask if she could help... I didnt argued wif her, was too hot, thirsty, tired & hungry  Luckily e drink was so yummy, almost 4got this bad xperience =P Peanut butter spin @ $6.20... Probably can check out other branches, their products are gd If service is damn bad & food is super gd... wil u return again? If service is damn gd & food sucks... wil u return? Dar got Armani @ citychain costin @ 390 bucks... of course i paid 4 it, dun understand y he so 'into' armani' Haa of course i oso got myself a watch--> Marc Ecko. Took ard 6 mths to finali found "the one", well i'm picky ba lol... mine cost oni 261 bucks, mum paid 100 bucks for my veri belated birthady gift & dar paid e rest. This Bencoolen Shopping Mall @ bugis can give veri gd price on watches. & i got mine over tere =) juz tel them the model no, they made the order. Probably gonna wait 1 to 2 wks time. Mine cost 329 bucks @ citychain, its so much cheaper tere loh  The mall is juz besides 'Guan Ying' temple. Mani mani shop sellin watches, defintely much better price. The shops r overpacked on wkends, from youngsters, adults to families. I luv loud designs watches, its heavy de. My 1st time wearin such costly watch, gonna wori everytime i wear, wil i scratch it a nt. Mum dun like it, she finds it too big... I luv big watches! =P
